The Little Lighthouse Foundation celebrated its Iconic Holiday Party and Toy Drive on December 21, 2011 at the home of Aaron Resnick at the ICON South Beach. Resnick, a South Florida attorney, along with Robert Sena, Charlie Venturi and Aracibo Quintana are co-founders of the Little Lighthouse Foundation, www.thelittlelighthouse.org. Resnick opened his home to group of philanthropic mover and shakers to collect funds and gifts for the children living at the homeless assistance center run by the Community Partnership for Homeless. Guests, including Melissa Katz, Seth Browarnik, Stacey Josloff, Evan Kaye, Angela Santamaria, Robert Sena, Charlie Venturi, Aracibo Quintana, Sonya Olsen, Alan Randolph, Sorah Daiha, Jason and Kacey Goldstein, Eric Even, Ana Isabel Alvarado and Roger Duarte, enjoyed a night of flowing champagne, a bevy of specialty drinks from Botram rum and feasted on Stone Crabs from George Stone Crabs. The party raised over $5,000.00 and attendees donated well over 300 gifts for the children living at the Community Partnership for Homeless. Art work from celebrity photographer Seth Browarnik’s Art of Night exhibition was prominently featured throughout the home with the Browarnik there discussing his artwork with guests who attended. Volunteers from the Little Lighthouse Foundation then delivered the gifts to the children at the on Friday, December 23rd. Founded in 2010, the Little Lighthouse Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non--profit organization that rallies volunteers and conducts high-profile events to benefit children and their families throughout South Florida. Focusing on supporting families who face medical, educational, emotional and financial challenges, the Little Lighthouse Foundation’s network of active young professionals contribute both time and financial contributions. These contributions benefit Internal Little Lighthouse Programs and a network of other noteworthy local charities. The charity hosts a number of social events throughout the year and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in 2011 to help South Florida children and families in need.
